My Story

I was born in Delaware. My family worked in service to a wealthy family in the Brandywine Valley. Being surrounded by nature lent itself to childhood’s creativity, and my brothers and I used the woods and fields as a backdrop to several homemade samurai, detective, and fighting films. As the youngest, I was always going to be the one to die multiple times.
When I grew up a bit and went through high school and college, I found a lot of joy in writing and sculpting. Creating something in clay that felt alive through animation felt like I was contributing something original to the world. In college I took every art class I could to expand on the mediums and learn more, and somehow graduated with a Comms degree.

In the past nearly 10 years, I’ve lived a lot. I’ve had jobs ranging from mail carrier, to ice cream truck driver, marketing coordinator to tour guide. I’ve worked in cemeteries, driven in hot stinking trucks, digitized the archives of a famous (and he’ll tell you so) photographer in the basement of a barn, and come face-to-face with some of the meanest museum donors you ever did meet. Most of these things were done in the name of survival and money, but I enjoyed most of it, and have always been creating along the way.I’m always out for a new adventure and eager to see what comes next.
